Repairing Hash Errors in VC Documents

Follow these steps if the user is receiving errors prompting "Unable to verify the hash code Authenticity of the document" Or "Unable to retrieve the document" with ID's of C00012\C00014

Step 1.

Navigate to BMRIPS01, once doing so open a program named Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio. Make sure you also Note down the filed number and version of the document you are encountering the problems with.

When opening this program right click and select run as another user.

Username: vcservice
Password: VirCab1net




Step 2.

Within SQL Server Management Studio on the left hand side you will find a section titled Object explorer with a list of folders.
  - You want to follow this path: Database\VirtualCabinet\Programmability\stored Procedures\System Stored Procedures 
    - What you reach this point you want to select the option dbo.spFilespath
     - Right click and select the option to "Execute stored Procedure"





Step 3.

After you select the option to execute the filespath a small window will open.
 - In the first two rows you have the ID field and version of the file, enter the correct values to the problematic file.
  - After you have done so also make sure you select tick boxes like is show in the picture below. then Select OK.













Step 4.

When you have complete the last steps the filepath window will close.
  - Under the section labeled Results it will list where the document is located on BMRIAPS03 in the VCStore drive.
   - You then want to navigable the path that under the @strFolderPath.
    - Copy the file out to another location. You then can delete the problematic from VC and re save the copied file.
